What kind of indoor/outdoor options are available for wedding events?

We have two large outdoor spaces to accommodate for ceremonies and receptions featuring scenic views. The historic residence can accommodate small parties and be used for food service and other various needs.

What kind of events does Hidden Oaks offer?

Wedding ceremonies and receptions, bridal showers, engagement parties, rehearsal dinners, conferences, and more!

What services does Hidden Oaks offer?

Table  and chairs setup and tear-down, event cleanup, venue facilitator, bridal rooms, liability insurance, lighting/sound, and outside vendors.

Do you offer a military discount?

We offer a 10% discount for our military.

What furniture and decorations does Hidden Oaks have available for weddings and events?

Tables and chairs, garden umbrellas, bistro lighting.

Is parking included?

There is a very large attached parking lot adjacent to the venue that guests and vendors can park at. We also have large parking space that can accommodate caterers/food trucks.

Can we bring in our own alcohol?

No alcohol of any kind is allowed on the premises.

Do we have to use your caterer?

No, you are welcome to use a licensed outside caterer of your choosing.

What time can I start my event / wedding on Monday - Friday?

3:30 PM is the soonest you can begin your event duringt the week, due to schoool traffic,

What is the latest our wedding or event can end?

10 PM due to the San Bernardino County noise ordinance.

What happens if it rains?

We can assist you with renting a tent for the ceremony and reception sites, however, you will be responsible for any charges for the tent rental. The cost of the tent rental depends on the type of tent and how big of a tent you will need. Each quote will depend on your individual circumstances. Tent rentals are allowed only by All Occasions Rentals. Please have a contingency fund for this extra cost, especially in rainy weather months.

How do I reserve my wedding date?

We require you to sign our save the date contract and place a (non-refundable) 25% deposit to secure your event date, a $500 security deposit (refundable), and your balance must be paid in full 60 days prior to your event date.

How far in advance should we book our date?

Weddings and Quinceañeras should book as soon as possible, our dates book quickly! Parties and events under 100 guests can only book within 8 weeks before the event day unless they pay the full reception pricing.

Can we have our event indoors?

Our historical residence can accommodate small parties, up to 130 guests seated.

What is the capacity of Hidden Oaks? 

  • Max Seated Indoors: 130

  • Max Seated Outdoors: 400

  • Max Standing Indoors: 165

  • Max Standing Outdoors: 400

  • Ceremony Capacity: The venue space holds up to 400 seated guests outdoors or 130 seated indoors.

  • Event/Reception Capacity: The venue space accommodates 130 seated or 165 standing guests indoors and 400 seated or standing guests outdoors.

  • Meeting Capacity: Meeting spaces hold 100 seated guests.

 

Do I need insurance for my event?

We highly encourage obtaining insurance. Please note, if you opt not to secure insurance Hidden Oaks is not responsible for vendor nor event related 

situations outside the realm of Hidden Oaks responsibilities please review our contract.

Does Hidden Oaks require security?

Due to being a NON-Alcoholic venue we do not require additional security.

The website says any activity or ceremony that is contrary to historical Judeo-Christian beliefs will not be allowed. What does this mean?

 Hidden Oaks Venue is a part of Solid Ground Church and events hosted here are required to align with our Christian values. This means, if your event includes spiritual or religious elements they must fall within historical Judeo-Christian beliefs. This is why we do not permit same-sex marriage ceremonies or any sacred ceremonies of other religions. For more in-depth information on our denomination’s positions click here. In addition, no explicit music is to be played during your event. Further answers can be provided during your tour.

Are people from other faiths and the LGBTQ+ community still welcome to attend an event? 

Yes of course! Many of us have loved ones and family that are in the LGBTQ+ community and from other faith traditions. We endeavor to treat every guest the way we would want our family and friends treated, with respect and Christian love.
